BRANCH MANAGERS – (3) KITWE & LUSAKA

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, profitable selling; meeting sales targets, growing market share and effective management of branch assets, operations and personnel.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Work with Sales & Marketing Manager and Retail Manager to influence the creation and communication of Company Sales Strategy, business priorities and targets for the branch teams.
  • Nurture relationship with existing customers, service the existing accounts leading to continued purchases
  • Prospect New potential customers: make presentations; cold calls; timely respond to enquiries, tenders; closing the leads and initiate purchases
  • Collect all debts within the specified credit period of approved credit days
  • Take proper care of all Branch Assets; take care for all branch stock and stock related documentation in timely manner; Stock counts; Stock Management including re-ordering on time and Asset management.
  • Implement performance management system to accomplish agreed objectives. Preparedness/ planning and organizing of appraisal process. Knowledge of procedure and process.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal education, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training.

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, or any related business or Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering  with at least 3 years work experience in managing a branch or retail operation in the automobile, tyre or related industry.
  • Or a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related business or technical field at least Five (5) years’ work experience in managing a branch or retail operation in the automobile, tyre or related industry.
  • Must have proven Tyre or automobile related selling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills including writing and computer skills.
  • Good negotiation and selling skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Good Leadership and Organisation skills with ability to work as a team

 

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a fully paid up member of Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
  • Must have a valid clean driving license.
  • Must have at least three traceable referees and provide the same in the CV

COMMERCIAL MANAGER (1) - LUSAKA

The position will be Reporting to: The Sales and Marketing Manager

 

Purpose of Job

Provide leadership in devising and actualizing strategic initiatives and tactics through clusters/ branch teams/ sales team to improve revenues and profits. Lead market development activities and customer acquisition programs through cluster / commercial sales / branch teams.

 

Key duties

  • Plan and implement sales programs that meets and/ or exceeds established sales targets.
  • Lead sales prospecting activities in accordance with the developed sales objectives and strategies and are implemented according to the overall corporate strategy.
  • Engage customers regarding tender enquiries and respond on timely basis.
  • Support sales staff to achieve branch and cluster targets.
  • To plan and implement promotions in liaison with cluster / Branch managers and other stakeholders.
  • Management of company sales portfolio.
  • Improve Cash flow and achieve zero bad debts on managed account holders.

 

Key Qualifications and other skills requirements

 

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Mechanical Engineering,    Automobile Engineering or any related business or technical field.

Experience: Minimum Five years’ work experience in a related industry, out of which three years in commercial Tyre sales & fitment services 

  • Must be fully paid members of Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
  • Must have a clean valid driving license.
  • Must have proven negotiation and selling skills, good leadership and organisational skills, good communication skills including writing and computer skills.
  • Must have three traceable referees and provide the same in the CV

The department provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, training and development; as well as oversee administrative functions.

Finance 

Our finance team plays a critical role in the success of our company. As a trusted business partner to all the Departments and Branches, the Finance department informs every aspect of the business and leads key functions including Accounting, reporting & Financial Statements; Financial Controls and Risk Management;  Strategic financial management.

Information & Technology

Our IT department is responsible for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructure which includes Head Office Data center and Server services, Branch Offices Infrastructure, Wide Area Network Infrastructure, ERP system, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, Workstation/thin-client management, Storage and related software.
